![]() Next up on our DJ Profiles: George Sarah! George Sarah is an Electronic composer and multi-instrumentalist. Born in Seoul, South Korea, he moved to the US at the age of five. He has garnered critical acclaim for his unique brand of electronic acoustic music bridging the normally discrete musical worlds of electronic, industrial and classical. With 10 full length albums, five EP's, 40 compilations he is a former member of Stereotaxic Device (KK/Rough Trade) and THC (Buffy The Vampire Slayer), in addition, he has collaborated with members of the Los Angeles Master Chorale, David J (Bauhaus/Love and Rockets), Alain Whyte (Morrissey), James Fearney (The Pogues), Robert Williams (Captain Beefheart), Joss Wedon (Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Avengers), Anthony Head, Beijing Modern Dance Company, Poetic Kinetics-(large-scale art installations and experiential design group). Recent concerts include a live score for the 1928 Silent film classic by Carl Dreyer 'La Passion de Jeanne d'Arc' mix of Chant by four voice choir, string quartet and Electronic rhythm. He performs frequently in Los Angeles and around the USA/Europe. Some notable venues, KCRW's Morning Becomes Eclectic, Amoeba Records, Gerhard Richter reception at San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, Texas Theatre in Dallas, Milwaukee Film Fest, FilmScene in Iowa City, Soka Performing Arts Center in Aliso Viejo, Grand Performances, Echoplex, UCLA's Royce Hall, and a two week residency in Paris, France. He has scored numerous television shows, feature length and short films as well as license his songs in dozens of projects including HBO Documentaries, CSI, Buffy The Vampire Slayer.
